Did you know that I used to be a "Calefare"?

Caught this new local comedy right after e live telecast of NDP. And quite honestly, I haven't laughed so hard since "Under One Roof".



Anyway, this reminded me of my days when I was a "Calefare" myself. That term refers to actors with small roles, or better known as extras.

A decade ago, I was doing sitcoms with TCS (it wasn't called Mediacorp back then). I was in TV shows like "Can I help you" and "My Grandson the Doctor". I bet you've never heard of them.

But on those sets, I'd worked with celebrities (just to name a few) like Gurmit Singh, Hossan Leong, Nicholas Lee and Vernetta Lopez. Yep.
